What an amazing STAMPtember has been! It was full

What an amazing STAMPtember has been!
It was full of happy surprises, wonderful releases, fun times and most of all...it was full of kindness.

Heidi is our gem.
Heidi is our "craft momma" - being a designer for her Simon Says Stamp is like being part of her own family. She never let you down, she always have kind words and her energy and vibe is like vitamin d. You simply need it and a tiny amount of it makes you feel good the entire day.

Thank you for bringing STAMPtember and for carrying it for so long. It is an event that everyone is now looking and waiting for.

Of course this year was nonetheless one of the best. We ended the month with the @tim_holtz collaboration that once again , it turned out to be yet another must have stamp. I absolutely love it.

And if you watch the live, you know that is also so versatile and great for any style and any level.
Of course the craft community didn't disappoint, and the stamp is sold out. Wow. Just wow.

My last project I made for the @tim_holtz and @sta

My last project I made for the @tim_holtz and @stampersanonymous Christmas Stamp Release.
For this last card I used the Festive Print stamp set.

I started by stamping with embossing ink all over the my background. I used all the sentiments in the stamp set then I used clear embossing powder , heat set it and when the paper was cold I used distress ink to do the background.

I set aside to dry, didn't use the heat tool because I didn't want to over heat the embossing powder as I was as waiting, I stamped the main image over glitter cardstock from IdeaOlogy.

I cut out the focal image then stamped again with clear embossing ink and as last touch I added embossing glaze.

We have a new #sssmchallenge over @simonsaysstamp .
This week's theme is "Christmas"
In this tag I've used @sizzix Trim a Tree thinlits die from the @tim_holtz Christmas release.
I absolutely love this die!
I've also used @ranger_ink distress Oxide spray and distress ink spray (Weathered wood, speckled egg, iced spruce) + distress mica stain from the #distressink line.
Over my blog there is a little tutorial on how I achieved the background. The Key Is to use Plain Collage paper (sadly retired)
To add some texture, I used the snowfall paste.
The new stencil released from @stampersanonymous was perfect for this theme!

I just love these colors together !!

Here's the second card I made for the @tim_holtz and @stampersanonymous Christmas Stamp Release.
Did you catch the live? In case you missed it, head over Tim's blog! You will find the entire collection there and all the Fabolous makers that were presented. Oh the inspiration was HUGE!

In this card I've used the Winter Woodlands stamp set. I've stamped the big pine three on a piece of craft cardstock from @ranger_ink and layered over a piece of glitter cardstock from the IdeaOlogy paper line.

I've used the star from the Twinkle stencil to add texture on the top of the pine three.

I used rustics wilderness distress ink to ink a white background and then used distress glaze to add the lumber stamp.
I love the subtle effect of this stamp, not too busy, just perfect as a background stamp . ( I'm sure it would be also a great focal stamp)

The new @tim_holtz and @stampersanonymous Christma

The new @tim_holtz and @stampersanonymous Christmas Stamp Release is simply perfect. Here's one of the projects I've made and I've featured the beautiful Jolly Holidays Stamp set.
I used a soft color scheme mixing blues and greys with some gold embossing touches.
I've also used the Ticking and Grain stamp set (on the parchment with embossing glaze but that is really hard to catch. lol
I wanted to highlight Santa's suit with paste to make it a bit dimensional and fun to touch.
