Have you ever wanted to make a unique and colorful tag for your gifts or craft projects? Recently, I wanted to play with the galaxy theme and this week’s prompt was just perfect!
I made a galaxy background for my flower accents, and it turned out to be a fun and satisfying activity. Here’s how I did it!
First, I gathered the supplies: watercolor paper, distress reinkers, Distress Oxide Inks, white acrylic paint, a round brush, a splatter brush, and flower stamps. I painted the background with various shades of blue and purple, blending them together with water. Then I added some white paint mixed with water to create the galaxy effect using the Splatter Brush.
Once the background was dry, I stamped the flowers in clear embossing ink and used Gold Embossing Powder over it. I fussy cut the flower and set it aside.
The background of the tag is made with black soot ink + black soot distress ink applied with a plastic sheet.
To finish the tag, I hreaded some ribbon through it. Voila! A beautiful and unique tag was ready !
Try it out and see what you can create!
And that’s all for today, If you have any questions, suggestions or if you want to let me know what you think of this project, leave a message!
Stay happy , stay creative…Till next time!
