I started by adding gesso to the background of my tag then I mixed Distress Paint in Weathered Wood and let it dry. Then I took a piece of backdrops from Tim Holtz Ideaology and I ripped a piece of paper.

I distressed the edge and with the distress ink I inked the side to create more interest to the page.

I took some ideaology photo and cut them in little pieces to then sew them together and create sort of a circle. The idea was to re-create this tag I did, but I ended up with something different.

I still like it though!

The paper doll I used is probably my new favorite, the expression is so fun and so curious that I think it goes perfectly with the theme!

The EXPLORE sentiment is from an old die from Sizzix and Tim Holtz — I love these, wish they were making more of this style!
