Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

 

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”3288″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I covered the entire tag with bits and pieces of paper, you know this is always the first thing I do on almost every project I share with you! The sequence is pretty easy : one layer of gel medium, then random pieces of paper (doesn’t matter the style or the size!) then another layer of gel medium.
I let it dry and then I lightly tone everything down with a bit of white gesso.
Then all you have to do is let it dry PERFECTLY.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”3289″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Next part is the fun! Grab colors and start adding them to your background! When I work on this step, I always make sure I enjoy it and I don’t stress about where to put what. I simply let colors go wherever they want.
Seriously, NO STRESS.
I let the background dry again and then I added pieces of chipboard, I wanted numbers to spell out 2018 (duh!) I glued them to the backrgound and then grabbed again the same colors i used for the background to help the numbers blend in with the background.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”3291″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I stitched all around the tag and I also added stitches over the 2018 — then i used this amazing stamp set by Simon Says Stamp to spell out the “BE KIND”.

So, 2018, I don’t ask you for miracles, I don’t ask you to fill my wishlist, I don’t ask for my prince charming, I don’t ask to win the lottery…I simply ask you to be kind.
