Happy Birthday Card

Here we are to a brand new challenge over Simon Says Stamp!

 

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I decided to use Distress markers in the tone of orange/yellowish ! I don’t know how to define that color! LOL!!!

I don’t even know if in Nature exist that shade of flower?? I have no idea but when I was choosing colors, I was so drawn to these and I decided to stick to it!
The background was a real challenge for me! And now that I look at the card, I realized I did a lot of things I could have avoid for sure!!!
I stamped this beautiful flower set over a piece of paper and then fussy cut it entirely. My idea was to stamp the bouquet and then to mask the stamp and add some text in the background…. well…it worked amazingly……… too bad I then covered the main part with other stuff and you can’t really tell! LOL!!! Congrats Zoey. 😀
Anyway……. After I stamped the background I did a wash with gesso and water to tone the black down.
Then i stamped the three flowers and colored them with Distress Markers and then I fussy cut them again.
