I started off my background by adding splashes of distress spray in the seedless preserve colors, then I added some more layers with Distress Ink + Oxide ink of the same color.

I let it dry then added bits of the collage paper photography — I just added the script part to add a bit of interest to my background. Once I was happy, I added a touch of gold, randomly .

I sewed over the tag the transparent layer from the new Tim Holtz Ideaology Release that has paint circles, which is perfect for the theme!

To add more circles, I took a “neutral” piece of embellishment — also from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Line — and die cut some circles from it.

I found these beautiful and colorful butterflies and adhered them over the “neutral” circels.

Added my sentiment and some other splashes of white ink just to add a bit more contrast and interest to the tag.
