The goal was to just go with the flow and create an abstract background

1. Cover partially your tag with Tim Holtz Collage Paper and cover the rest of the background with a thick layer of gesso. I used a spatula to apply it so that I could get more textures.
2. Use a brayer to apply paint to the dried background. I used distress paint to do that, see the list below to know what colors I used.
   Note that my brayer is really old and has tons of layers of old paint that is why the colors gets so textured over my tag.
3. Before drying the paint, I removed some of it through a stencil with a babywipe. Note that you can do this technique only if you gessoed the background and if the paint is not dry. Otherwise removing the paint might be hard.
4. I applied more paint using first a spatula, then I used a contrast color with a brush and blended everything with some white paint. 
5. I repeated the process over and over till I got the background I was happy with.
6. With a black pencil I highlighted some circles and with a thin tip bottle I scribbled some wording along the sides of the tag. If you are wondering, inside the bottle there is black acrylic paint thinned out with a bit of water.
