Here we are with a brand new challenge over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is:

Not a Card

As you may know, the Simon Says Stamp Store is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.

We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together!

Let’s start by saying that this challenge was pretty easy for me as I rarely make cards…LOL!

I started my background by brushing a mix of Distress Paint (The list is long, check out the details at the bottom of the blog post!) I didn’t know what I wanted to do, so I didn’t stress out about it and i simply kept adding colors and removing it with a babywipe. I did that a couple of time, till I was satisfied. I glued down a piece of Tim Holtz Collage paper and I stitched all around the border tag.

I then made my cluster by using bits and pieces I had laying on my desk. I used the same color palette from the background to color the beautiful butterfly.

As last touch I added a bit of gold with a brush and I let some drops fall over the background.

The words were perfect for the whole theme!
