[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]For this week’s project I decided to create a TAG using falls colors. Fall/Autumn is my favorite season – I know everything “dies” , but what I always thought about this season, is that Nature teaches us that letting go always lead to something yes painful (winter) but then amazing (spring).
I love the explosions of reds, yellows, oranges….everything seems turning into fire at sunset…and it gives me chills! So I am very excited for Autumn to come!!!
The process for this tag is really easy peasy and it took me no longer than a couple of hours.

I hope you will like it![/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Italiano” tab_id=”1516029477498-39098072-e95a9052-8b99f3d7-98f7ded3-835f”][vc_column_text]Ciao Creative!

A layer of gel medium and then Tissue Wrap Paper, Collage Paper by Tim Holtz and another layer of gel medium.
I set everything to dry then I added paint. I used distress paint by Tim Holtz because I absolutely love how they easily thin down with water and how well they all mix together.
When it comes to coloring my background, as I always say, there is no a particular rule or scheme or direction.
I just use a small brush for the main color then i switch to my fingers for blending in all the other colors. Important is the drying process between layers![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”3966″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I die cut the leaf from a piece of old gessoes project. I always have a shash of pre-gessoed paper. These can come from cuts, old projects, and just pieces that I use to clean off my tools after using gesso. They are handful to have around so you don’t have to wait for gesso to dry! (Little hint!!) I added color and then I added the clear rock candy distress crackle paint. I love this, but ugh I hate waiting for it to dry! In fact I wanted to speed up the drying time and I had some bubbles as resould instead of crackles…….oh well!!! Will I ever learn? NOPE!! 😀

The secret for a perfect crackle is…..PATIENCE!![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”3969″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Assembly the whole tag was pretty easy, just a matter of layering pieces here and there and then run everything under my beloved sewing machine.

I also love the sentiment I picked, It was calling my name as I was browsing through all the Tim Holtz Stickers I have….this one caught my eye immediatly!!
