Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2645″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I covered the entire tag with pieces of the Vintage Paper by Simon Says Stamp and covered it with a very thin layer of gesso. I mixed the gesso with a bit of water because I still wanted the paper to show through. Then with a spatula I applied the distress paint in Salty Ocean color. I set aside to dry.
When it was dry I added some stamps here and there. As you can read by the list of supplies at the bottom of this post, I used unconventional stamp to create this Winter scene. This to show you how versatile can be a stamp![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2643″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]With the white paint I created the little snow man and let it dry. Then I took some pieces of vintage paper and I roughly cut them to mimic an hat and a scarf that i then glued over the snow man. Then I took everything to the sewing machine and added some stitches details here and there. I didnt want to be precise, I simply stitched around the shapes to define them.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2646″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I mimed the snow effect with some Coarse paste I had and when everything was dry I simply added some more details such as lighting and shadow with distress markers.
