Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!
I ofter get inspired by the music I listen to, since I have no television, the only “noise” in my room, except for when my dog wants to play, is the music that I leave on… I do not have a specific genre of music, I let youtube decide for me. Sometimes the songs are perfect, some others, creates only distractions and confusion. This is what happened with today’s project. I couldn’t find something that would feed my curiosity and creativity. But I hope that my tag will inspire you nonetheless…
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2396″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I started by die cutting the TAG shape from a piace of heavy cardstock – then I covered it with old book paper and gesso and let it dry. I added a bit of textured tape and covered again with gesso. I added textured with modeling paste and a stencil and let it dry again[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2397″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I added a bunch of color with spray inks and with water I let the color drips and move around. I let it blend a bit and then I set the color with heat gun. I stitched around the tag and added some twine.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2400″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I die cut the heart and the wings from another sizzix die and glued to the project with glossy accent. I added a bit of color to help it blend with the background, but if i could come back i would have probably used other colors to make them pop more…..but…….anyway!!!!! I like the color combination in this tag, it is fun and makes me want to sing a song!
