Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!
[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2264″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]I used a lot of gesso, black gesso, distress paint, dylusion paints to create the first layer of background. I set aside to dry because I wanted it to be completely dry before adding distress crayons.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2266″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]Then it was time to add even more color so I grabbed a couple of distress markers and added depth to the already busy background. I did not want to add anything else, no stamps, no stencils. I wanted to create texture only with paint and gesso.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2262″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]And as every project I do, it goes along with the current mood of my feelings. There has been a little “fight” – a little something going on, that had me think and carefully take a specific path.
Nothing to be worried about, but i found my self into paradise and at the same time in war zone….the result? I choose to be happy.
and oh boy. 🙂
Can’t wait to see all your yummi textured project![/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2261,2262,2263,2264,2265,2266″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]
Simon Says Stamp is also on Instagram! If you would like you can also share your projects there, but don’t forget to use the hashtag #sssmchallange[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

This is just perfect! The fight is so visible and I love your choice of being happy! Great colors and amazing textures. Love it! Hugs, Marzena
wow Zoey…you truly are the queen of texture and colour…love it…hugs kath xxx
Gorgeous colours and textures! Completely understand where you’re at, changing our perspectives help too. Especially when i look at your tag, every perspective brings out yet another beautiful element!
Zoey, you create such amazing texture!! To think you did all this with paints! What a juxtaposition with the dark and bright, your words, and your life path. Happy is always a good choice in my mind – hugs!
Stunning texture!!

Simon Says Stamp!
Jaw droppingly beautiful. I seriously loved every bit about this. The sentiment behind your card is conveyed perfectly in the chaos of the texture with the bright colors splashing over the dark background. Love, love, love.
Zoey — I so felt the emotional story of this tag before I ever read your post. It truly conveys the emotional turmoil of a “fight” with the layers of color and texture from the paint and gesso. And then the Choose to be Happy right in the middle of the words War Zone … Amazing. LOve this!!!!! — Mary Elizabethr
Un lavoro bellissimo e molto toccante! Un mix di colori e textures davvero esplosivo! barbara
Oooh, bravo. Love this… the colors are bomb!
Love the colors and texture on your tag, Zoey! Amazing as always and I wish I could get the whole white space thing down but when I try it, it never turns out fantastic like yours did on this tag. You’ve given me the inspiration to keep trying.
Hugs,
Cathie ♥
Gorgeous tag Zoey, the background is amazing and I love the double sentiment, very clever and very lovely 🙂
